2024 Tour de Fleece Bingo
On your mark... get set... SPIN!
What is the Tour de Fleece you ask? It's the spinning version of the Tour de France, which is being held this year from June 29 through July 21. Unlike the cycling version, which requires riders to pedal most of the day, we are challenging our guild members to spin at least a little bit everyday. (Rest days are July 8 and July 15, for the bikers and the spinners.) To add even more fun to the Tour de Fleece, participants are invited to play a spinning version of bingo as well!
Interested in playing? Sign up, either through facebook or email president@clothos.org. By signing up, we can better plan for prizes.
How to play: The object is to get a bingo in the usual way, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. A bingo card can be found at: https://clothos.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/2024-TDF-Bingo.pdf
Participate in whichever bingo blocks you'd like. You can do more than just what makes up a bingo, but it's not required to complete the full card. You can do any of the items any day during the Tour timeframe.
Goal: To SPIN! Ideally we'd love to spin every day, but having a reason like the Tour de Fleece can help us make time for what we all love. The activities on the bingo card may stretch our talents, but that's the way we can become better spinners. Spin a little; spin a lot; spin a challenge; or just spin and have fun!
How to submit your bingo card: Bring your marked bingo card to either the July or August Clothos meeting. We would love to see any pictures you have as you play along, so feel free to post them to our Facebook page.
Prizes: Did someone say prizes? Yes, while the details are being worked out, we should have some prizes and maybe even cool swag for participating!
FAQs:
What if I don't get bingo? It’s all about the challenge and fun of spinning. But since life does get in the way, you can always bring your marked bingo card to the Clothos meeting and get a raffle ticket for participating.
Can a non-guild member participate? Prizes will be awarded to guild members, but even if you’re not a guild member, feel free to use the bingo card and spin along with us!
What if I miss the deadline to submit my bingo card? If you cannot attend the July or August meeting, bring your marked bingo card when you can for a raffle ticket.
